It’s Fishy is an independent UK directory for fishing-related businesses and activities. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or responsible for listings submitted by third parties unless explicitly stated.

3. Accounts & listings

  • You’re responsible for the accuracy of information you submit (e.g., club/shop details, opening hours, prices, images, logos).
  • You must have the rights to any content you upload (including photos and branding) and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and promote that content in connection with the Service.
  • We may edit, refuse, or remove content that we reasonably consider inaccurate, infringing, misleading, unlawful, or not suitable for our audience.
  • “Verified” badges indicate that we or an owner/admin have confirmed certain details, but do not constitute endorsement or a guarantee.

4. Prohibited activities

  • Posting unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading content.
  • Impersonation or unauthorised use of another’s intellectual property.
  • Scraping, bulk-copying, or reverse-engineering the Service.
  • Uploading malware or attempting to disrupt site operation.

5. Third-party content, adverts & affiliates

We display third-party content and advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) and may use affiliate links. We don’t control third-party sites or their content and are not responsible for them. If you click an advert or affiliate link, the third party’s terms and privacy policies apply. We may receive a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Listings, opening hours, prices, and availability can change. Always verify details directly with the establishment before travelling or booking. Content on the Service is for general information only and is not professional, legal, financial, or safety advice. Fishing involves risk; follow local laws, safety guidance, and water-side best practice.
